The Division of HAIP is sharing the first release of the COVID-19 Infection Control and Outbreak Response Toolkit for Long-Term Care
The Division of HAIP is sharing the first release of the COVID-19 Infection Control and Outbreak Response Toolkit for Long-Term Care Now that long-term care facilities are moving to a resiliency phase in response to COVID-19, we strive to provide a toolkit that will empower long-term care facilities to effectively prepare and respond to COVID-19 outbreaks.
Like other Department resources such as the Influenza and Norovirus toolkits, this resource offers information and tools to guide our long-term care partners before, during, and after the outbreak. Users can navigate this comprehensive document with ease by utilizing the interactive table of contents. And while this toolkit is intended to address COVID-19 specifically, the information and tools included are applicable in many cases to other disease events and outbreaks allowing long-term care facilities to maintain their readiness.
